Are there any other teens that actually liked the movie Mamma Mia? Haha we were talking at school today and I was the only one who actually liked the movie.Anyone on here like it? |
| Haha me! :D |
How appropriate is the Broadway show Mamma Mia for pre-teen girls? I'm considering going and taking my 11 year old girl. I don't want to take her if it's too risque for her. |
| "Mamma Mia" is one of the best musicals to come out in quite a while, and it's not very risque. You should be fine taking your 11-year-old. Just be sure to stick around after the curtain call -- trust me on this one. |
Is clarisonic Mia good for teen? For acne, and hyperpigmentation. How often to use, will it be too harsh?thanks! |

What is a good topic sentence for the effects of being a role model for teens? its a paper to be written in class today! just need a catchy way to phrase this sentence using my example of charles barkley, mia hamm, and angelina jolie. just only on effects! |
| If you were the parent of a teenager, would you want him or her to grow up and be like Charles Barkley? Mia Hamm? Angelina Jolie? |
Days-How is Will going to react when he finds out that Mia had a baby? Sami was a teen mom right? do you think he'll understand? |
| I think he'll freak when he learns that she was a teen mom, especially when he finds out that it was Grace that was her daughter. But hopefully he'll understand since Sami had him when she was only a teen too. Lisa Michelle x x lol x x |

Isn't it strange how events can make different artist popular with teens...? Teenagers and young people, as I'm sure you know, don't normally listen to pre-2000s music However events can create exceptions to that rule, as in these examples here:
When Micheal Jackson (who was an 80s singer) died, everyone started listening to his music to pay tribute. That seemed to include teenagers, who would not have liked MJ otherwise. It's strange how they can start liking an artist just because he died, it should be that people who like him anyway play him more when he dies, not the other way round.
Abba are a cheesy pop/disco group from the 1970's, who won Eurovision Song Contest. Teenagers would never have listened to them before. However, last year when the film Mamma Mia came out, as teens liked that film, it made them like the music of Abba. |
You're completely wrong. I've been listening to ACDC since I was 12, because my uncle gave me their Back in Black album on my birthday. I've been listening to the Beatles since I was 6 because he gave me their Past Masters Volume II album on my birthday. I've been listening to Abba since I was... well, pretty much since I was born. Same with a lot of 80s pop music, because my mother loved it, and always played it in the car. I've been listening to Michael since I was about 10, because I heard Thriller in one of my classes.
Now, I'm 18 now, but I've been listening to music that ranged from the 40s to the 80s for a LONG time. Rod Stewart is my favorite artist, thanks to my father always playing his music over the car stereo, along with on guitar, singing it, etc. And I've loved scat, jazz, classical music, and swing since I was just a wee tot.
And I know a LOT of teens who listen to classic rock, or 80s pop, or disco, or jazz, or classical, and abhor anything from 2000 onward. |
High school musical 3 and mamma mia? whos ganna win, the audience for teens or the audience for older women?

When is it released in the UK/US? |
I think High School Musical 3 will win

Is Mama Mia! a movie worth watching in theatre for a teen boy? Is it good??..I ahve some other works at home!! |
I wouldn't say it would be a good movie for someone of your age...My 37 year old aunt liked it. lol
So, I would say it's kind of like a chick flick, all romantic and stuff. |
